My work is a personal rediscovery of my own creative voice.  I studied art early on and then moved into Art History, but painting has always been there – a small voice supporting me through life’s journey. Working from an emotional response to landscape and nature, I have a very sensory application that is evident in my original paintings and brings a lovely textured sense in my prints. As an artist, I have recently returned to my love of painting—a passion that, although it remained in the shadows for a time, has quietly supported and accompanied. Inspired by nature in all its beauty, power, and ever-changing rhythms, my work is a personal response to the world around me. Through colour, texture, and form, I seek to express not only how I see nature, but also how it makes me feel. Each painting is an exploration of connection, capturing moments of wonder, reflection, and emotion inspired by the landscapes, light, and natural elements that continue to inspire me.
